OnPoint recognizes security and data confidentiality as among its most important obligations. It therefore adheres to rigorous custodianship policies under the direction of its General Counsel. All physical records and media are maintained in double-locking facilities and made accessible to pre-cleared individuals only, for on-premises check-out. Case specific non-disclosure agreements are also signed in advance by each individual.

Three tiers of information security further protect electronic data: 1) source IP authentication, 2) role based passwords attaching specific access credentials, and 3) minimum 128 bit SSL encryption of all data transmissions. The live database for each case is continuously updated and is available 24 x 7. Information access is individually set by counsel to assure that no consultant or attorney sees information to which it should not have access. This differential access allows aligned parties to safely enjoy the benefits of a unified, consistent database.

The data center utilizes closed circuit cameras, secure key card access, biometric scanners and 24x7 on-site security personnel. Superior fire detection and suppression technologies are employed, and users are assured a dual, redundant Uninterruptible Power Supply. Intrusion Detection Services (IDS) constantly monitor all traffic on the network to prevent hacking, viruses, spoofing and other security breaches. The network itself employs a multi-tier architecture, with clustered components to maximize performance and eliminate any single point of failure.
